Home Care

Our mission is to ensure that the elderly and disabled in our community maintain independence in their own home with confidence and comfort.

Our aides may help with:

  • Personal care - assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Housekeeping and laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Errands
  • Respite for caregivers
  • Medication reminders
  • Transportation

Our registered nurses help with:

  • Free assessment for aide services
  • Supervision of the aide’s care
  • Case management and referral to needed services

Availability of Service

Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On-call staff are available after program office hours.

Qualified Care Providers

Service is provided by aides who have completed either Personal Care Aide training or Home Health Aide training and have completed the criminal history background checks.

Training

The agency’s training programs are approved by the New York State Department of Health. Aides continue to expand their knowledge by attending required quarterly training presented by professional staff.
